We are delighted to announce the arrival of Lewis & Wood in France, with Maison Antoine d'Albiousse becoming its exclusive distributor.
This new adventure began, first and foremost, with a meeting. In Lewis & Wood, Antoine and Sophie d'Albiousse discovered a company that shares their appreciation for beautiful interiors, fine materials, colour and craftsmanship, as well as a similar approach to their work: one defined by high standards and a genuine commitment to personal client service.
A distinctive British design house
Based in the Cotswolds, England, Lewis & Wood designs and prints its furnishing fabrics and wallpapers in its own workshops.
Archives, gardens, English country houses and the decorative arts inspire designs in a wide variety of scales. Smaller patterns and more striking decorative designs share the same attention to detail, drawing and colour. Some originate from historic documents, sensitively reinterpreted for today's interiors.
It was also this vision of decoration that appealed to Antoine and Sophie: creating interiors that feel vibrant, elegant and personal, where pattern, colour and texture come together in harmony.
Collections designed to last
The way Lewis & Wood produces its collections also played an important part in our decision.
The company produces its collections to order in England, with printing carried out in-house. This approach allows designs to remain available over time, while production is tailored to the needs of each individual project.
The same design can also be offered across different textile grounds or as wallpaper, providing great creative freedom to consider an interior as a whole: walls, curtains, upholstery and accessories can all be beautifully coordinated.
